Composition:
Each injector contains 9.375mg/g cefquinome (as sulphate).One syringe contains 75mg cefquinome.
Indications:
For the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cows caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Escherichia coli and other enterobacteria susceptible to cefquinome.
Dosage and Administration:
Milk out the affected quarter(s). After thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the teat and teat orifice, infuse the contents of one syringe into each affected quarter. Disperse the product by gently massaging the teat and udder of the affected animal. Treat the teat canal of the infected quarter(s) every 12 hours, i.e. after each of 3 successive milkings. Use each syringe for the treatment of only one teat.
Contraindication:
Not to be administered to animals which are known to be hypersensitive to cefquinome
Withholding Period

- Meat: Cattle producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter either during treatment or within 2 days of the last treatment.
- Milk: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for not less than 7 milkings or approximately 84 hours following the last treatment.
